NetSuite Demand Planning Training – ART04.1
Course Overview
This is a course designed to provide those managers with responsibility for setting inventory level targets and for using up-to-date planning tools to ensure that adequate inventory will be on hand to enable the organisation to meet expected demand.
The module is made up of two components; the Demand Plan and the Supply Plan. The demand plan provides the targeted levels of stock that the organisation needs to have on hand to meet expected demand. The supply plan determines what transactions need to be executed, and when, covering purchase orders for finished goods and components, work orders for finished products and sub-assemblies and transfer orders to ensure the inventory is in the right place at the right time.
The attendee will see the end to end process in action as they take an item from initial setup, through the forecasting process and all the way through to the creation of replenishment orders and the review of various feedback tools.
You should be sending someone if:
• You are embarking on a new NetSuite implementation, as having at least one senior Sales and Operations Team member attend this course prior to the implementation will deliver great insight into how to configure NetSuite to gain optimal results from the start of Live operations.
• You have had staff changes that have resulted in new members of the Sales and Operations Team and who need to become fully aware of the inventory planning functionality and capabilities of NetSuite.
• You feel you should be taking advantage of more of the exceptional Inventory functions of NetSuite and need the Sales and Operations Team to be one of the lead agents for this.

The attendee will be learning:
• How to set up core aspects that provide the foundation for the NetSuite financial ecosystem.
• What planning methods are available within NetSuite and their relative pros and cons.
• What transactions are available and how they operate.
• Analytical tools to monitor inventory performance.
Relevant Roles that should attend the course are Senior Operations, Senior Procurement and Senior Warehouse staff.
Leading the users through the hands-on experience, the Trainer will ensure that the participant will become well versed in the array of configuration elements of NetSuite, where they can be found, and how they should be implemented or modified on an on-going basis.
The course involves two days of direction by the Trainer with extensive instructor-led assignments that will provide a practical, hands-on experience that will reinforce the knowledge gained.
